The Month of July & The Significance of One Post

June 24, 2014

For the next few weeks, I’ll be traveling and won’t be posting much to this blog. In the blogging world, that is is mortal sin. My apologies:)

The Significance of One Post

Although I won’t be posting much here in the next few weeks, there is something brewing in me that I hope to share with you here on the blog when I return from traveling. It is significant for me, and I hope it will be significant for you too. With that said, if you have some free time on your hands and you’d like to browse the archive of posts here, there may be one significant post here that may serve you where you are in life right now. Feel free to have a look around.

Speaking of significant posts, my last post entitled Relational Love or Friction…What Really Holds Living Stones Together in Community Part II seemed to generate quite a discussion. I am thankful for that as I believe this is an important and needed conversation. I invite you to give that post a read and check out the discussion that follows. Talk to you a bit later in July.

  1. Travel well Jamal !
I think this and your last post lends it’s self to living by and leaning into the indwelling life of God within us. It isn’t on our time schedule and does not look like we imagine. :-O
Yesterday after decades of seeking truth I realized HE always gives me the answers I need even though I am asking all the wrong questions;-)
He is truly amazing and I love Him so deeply!
I am sure you will have something from Him to share with us in His perfect time and I look forward to it!

I am reading ” Crossroads” by Wm Paul Young and on Chapter 3. I am reading it to my husband since he won’t read it, so going slow, but know it is just about ready to break out into a place of new revelation of who our Jesus is to us as He changes our lives. Having good discussions with my husband. Wanted you to know this since you suggested this book.

  3. Enjoy your travels!! PS i love you!!!
