I Wrote This Because I Love You (some things you may have missed)
I am a firm believer that there is nothing that we have that we have not received. I am also a firm believer that what we have received should be shared for the building up of the house of God. We do not live as islands unto ourselves.
In January of this past year (2011), I began blogging on a consistent basis. Why have I done this? Quite simply, I have done this because I love you. I love Christ, and you are His body and His expression here on the earth. As His body, I must admit that you are quite beautiful.
With all my heart, I want to freely pass on to you what I have received for the purpose of the building up of the body of Christ. One of several ways that I am able to pass on what I have received is through writing. It is certainly not the only way, but an important way for me. When God builds His house, He employs a variety of different methods. He tears down crumbling structures, uproots false foundations, lays a pure foundation of Jesus Christ, and assembles building materials for the structure. As a result, many of the articles that I write contain these elements of tearing down and building up. Continue Reading…
