Episode 102: We Are All Kobe Bryant

Hint: the reaction to Kobe’s death had very little to do with Kobe Bryant himself, but with our own unprocessed pain. Hint: his real influence had little to do with his ability to put a ball into a metal hoop. Episode 100: *YOU* Are The Real Reason For The Christmas Season...

Every birth is the Christmas story.  

In EVERY conception is the Christmas story.  It is the Divine and the human coming together in each and every conception.  

Chances are, you have probably been told that the Christmas story is only about the birth of one man, two thousand years ago, who was the light of the world.  The Christmas story is typically understood as the divine incarnating as a human being (Jesus) who is called Emmanuel (which means God with us).  Chances are, you've been told that Jesus is the real reason for the Christmas season.  If this is the case, I believe you are actually missing the main point of the Christmas story.  The real lasting and enduring power of the Christmas story isn't only about the human incarnation of divinity through the birth of Jesus, its about divine incarnation in each and every birth.

Episode 97- David Kim Is Running For Congress...

We've all heard that religion and politics shouldn't mix, but what about love and politics?  

As a student of history, we can see that the marriage of religion and politics have yielded some of the world's darkest of ages, the worst forms of tribalism, nationalism, hypocrisy, control, etc... Episode 83: Embracing The Beauty of Masculinity: An Interview With Lucas Gifford

In this episode of The Love Cast, Jamal interviews renowned life coach Lucas Gifford about the beauty of true masculinity.  Lucas is the creator of the dynamic program for men called The Masterheart Man.  

In this episode, Lucas talks about why most men are allowing their shadow masculine essence run their lives as opposed to their highest masculine essence.  As a result, many men are living as little boys wrapped in an adult man's body.  This manifests as either powerlessness and impotence (emotionally, spiritually, physically), or as a tyrant and bully.  Both are manifestations of toxic masculinity.
