Many people who struggle, suffer, and who are the most impoverished in life seem to have one consistent pattern…they are consistently inconsistent.
They start, stop, start, stop, etc… and are always giving up on what they start soon after the novelty and excitement of beginning something new wears off.
These folks quickly begin dabbling in the next ‘novel’ thing before ever consistently mastering anything with consistency.
On the contrary, the most successful people in life, in any field, are consistently consistent. They settle into the process of what they are doing and give their all to the process of what they are doing without being overly obsessed with achieving a future result.
People who fail and struggle in life are in a hurry to achieve a future result, and as a result, give up quickly because they grow impatient and become discouraged with the process.
Unfortunately, this pattern guarantees that they can never get to the desired result due to inconsistent commitment to the process. This is a consistent pattern that keeps the pattern of struggle repeating ad nauseam.
Successful living is not about what you achieve in the end, it’s about how committed you are to the daily process of living well today. You are successful today, or unsuccessful today, depending on how consistent you are in the process of living well today. If we learn to consistently live well in the day in which we are living, the future result we desire will naturally manifest in time.
Are you committed to the process of living well today, or are you more focused on trying to achieve a ‘future’ result?
Today, may we commit ourselves to the process of living well today, and we will never need to worry about failure and lack in the future.
